Thank you for choosing CalmingColour.co.uk. We are dedicated to ensuring that your experience with us is as serene and enjoyable as our products. Below is a comprehensive guide to our policies regarding returns, refunds, and the rights you have to cancel an order.
Returns
You have 14 calendar days from the date of sale to return an item. To qualify for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:
- Condition: The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- Packaging: It must be in its original packaging.
- Proof of Purchase: Accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.
Made-to-Order Greeting Cards
Please be aware that all Greeting Cards on CalmingColour.co.uk are made-to-order and are sent to production immediately upon order receipt. Due to their custom nature, these items cannot be cancelled once the order is placed or returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Refunds
Refunds are available under the following conditions:
- Damaged or Defective Items: If your product (excluding made-to-order Greeting Cards, unless defective) is damaged during delivery or arrives defective, you can request a refund by providing proof of the damage within 14 days of receipt. We will process your refund to the original method of payment within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Cancellation Rights
You have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your goods, as per the Consumer Contracts Regulations. This "cooling-off" period allows you to evaluate the items as though you were in a physical store. To cancel an order:
- Notification: Inform us at support@calmingcolour.co.uk with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and your reason for the return.
- Return Process: After notifying us, you must send back the items within 14 days. You, the consumer, are responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the item is faulty or not as described.
- Exceptions: The right to cancel does not apply to custom-made items (such as made-to-order Greeting Cards) which are processed immediately upon order.
- Custom-Printed Cards Ordered in Error: If a custom-printed card is ordered in error, we will happily accept the card back for a refund of the cost of the card. However, since the card is custom printed and shipped directly, we require the card to be sent back to us to facilitate the refund process.
Exchanges
If your item is defective or damaged, we offer exchanges for the same item. Please contact us with details of the issue to initiate an exchange.
Shipping Costs for Returns
You are responsible for the shipping costs for returning your item. These costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount.
